Already 20 years since Estonia left the Russian influence.
Since forever, this country is looking towards the west. Ultra-liberal regime, joining the European Union, trying to forget the Soviet times.
But the East is not in the same dynamic. Televisions tuned to Moscow waves, Cyrillic at all street corners and Russian flags hung on old facades.
In Narva, the border town, life is harsh, winters are long, and youth is bored. Clichés that you are trying to escape always catch you. Time seems to stand still in this region with heart beating for the East.
